Civil War Blood Drive: University of Oregon vs. Oregon State University
In this civil war, the winner saves the most lives.
With the help of Oregon State University Alumni Association and University of Oregon Alumni Association, Lane Bloodworks and the American Red Cross are teaming up to increase blood donations in the Oregon community. This November, for the 16th year, both universities will participate in a friendly competition to see who can bring in the most donations—and win ultimate bragging rights.
- Who: Fans, students, and alumni of both universities are encouraged to donate blood on behalf of their school.
- When: Nov. 1 – 19, 2017
- Where: Register to give blood at any Bloodworks Northwest or American Red Cross donor centers or blood drives in Oregon or Southwest Washington. Find a donor center near you, or search for local blood drives. See below for upcoming University of Oregon and Oregon State blood drives.
- The Prize: The university with the most submitted ballots will be announced at the Civil War game and claim bragging rights for the year! Plus, all registered donors may enter a drawing to win Civil War tickets. The drawing will be held prior to Nov. 24 and the winner will be notified by phone as listed on the raffle entry form.
